Abstract:
To provide a communication system that controls implementation of polarization MIMO multiplex transmission.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a first communication device 100 mounted on a first mobile body (vehicle) and a second communication device 200 mounted on a second mobile body (vehicle). The second communication device has an antenna array including a plurality of second orthogonally polarized antennas 222 arranged spatially separated from each other in at least one of the vertical and horizontal directions. The first communication device has a first orthogonally polarized antenna 112, and a transmitter baseband unit 150 that controls implementation of polarization MIMO multiplex transmission by the first orthogonally polarized antenna 112 based on the propagation path status between the first communication device 100 and the second communication device 200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
