PURPOSE:To provide a commutator a apparatus by suppressing generation of arcs, by changing a length of branched off brush piece and by shifting in force and aft directions of a position in which the branched-off brush piece conducts a drum part of a cylindrical commutator with respect to the rotation direction of the cylindrical commutator.
