Abstract:
To facilitate an assembly of a carbon material and a metal material while suppressing misalignment and falls between the carbon material and the metal material.SOLUTION: A commutator 1 includes: a carbon material 3 having a sliding contact surface 30a to make sliding contact with a brush; and a metal material 5 provided on a side opposite the sliding contact surface 30a of the carbon material 3, and having a plurality of terminal parts 50a to which a winding is connected. A projection 30g is provided on the carbon material 3, and a penetration hole 50g into which the projection 30g is inserted is provided on the metal material 5. In an inner peripheral surface of the penetration hole 50g, an opening 50h penetrating in a penetration direction of the penetration hole 50g is provided. The inner peripheral surface of the penetration hole 50g elastically presses against an outer peripheral surface of the projection 30g upon the opening 50h being elastically expanded with the projection 30g inserted in the penetration hole 50g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
