PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a reduction of a manufacturing cost of a commutator.SOLUTION: A commutator has a plurality of segments annularly arrayed at a constant interval, and a resin portion arranged at an inner peripheral side of the plurality of segments and formed integrally with the plurality of segments. The resin portion has a groove portion hollowed to the inner peripheral side in a gap between segments adjacent to each other of the plurality of segments, and respective thickness of the plurality of segments are thinner as they are closer to the groove portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
