Abstract:

To provide a commutator motor permitting uniform contact of brush with the commutator.

This commutator motor comprises a recessed housing 22, including a through-hole allowing the shaft to be provided thererough, an armature fixed to the shaft, a commutator fixed to the end part of the shaft, a brush device 1 including a base 7 having a playing insertion hole which is fixed to the housing 22 with a tightening screw 3 to allow play insertion of tightening screw 3 and a brush 10 in contact with the commutator and a projection 22a formed at the internal wall surface of the housing 22 to determine the position of brush 10 to the commutator.
