A commutator polishing member 240 has a sandpaper 244 supported by a first support roller 242 and a second support roller 243 provided on the body 241 at an interval, and is attached movably to an attachment member 210. In a state where the attachment member 210 is attached to a cover covering a commutator 150, the polishing surface 244a of the sandpaper 244 is abutted against the outer peripheral surface of the commutator 150 (outer peripheral surface 152a of a commutator segment 152). The sandpaper 244 is disposed so that the first support roller 242 and second support roller 243 do not abut against the sandpaper 244, at a position facing the abutting position where the polishing surface 244a abuts against the outer peripheral surface of the commutator 150 while sandwiching the sandpaper 244.
