Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of a commutator piece by providing a key for retaining the piece at a commutator base. CONSTITUTION:Sector-shaped commutator pieces 11A-11C are disposed at equal interval on a commutator base 10 so that the adjacent portions thereof corresponds penetrating holes 10C. The pieces 11A-11C are engaged with a projection 10A, collar 10B and commutator piece engaging pawl 10b, and is engaged with the projection 10A by a ring-shaped rubber 16. A varistor 12 is so disposed on the back surface side of the base 10 that the core cutout portions of the risers 11A-1-11C-1 of the pieces 11A-11C correspond to the cutouts of the respective electrodes 12A- 12C of the variator 12. Thereafter, the ends of the commutator coils 9A-9C are interposed between the varistor and the cutouts of the pieces, and the armature coil and the varistor are connected to the commutator pieces respectively.
