Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain occurrence of crack incident to press fit of a rotary shaft in a commutator more reliably.SOLUTION: A commutator 10 has a body 12 composed of a resin material, and a brush slide part 14 provided to be exposed to the end face of the body 12. A shaft hole 20, into which the rotary shaft 24 of an electric motor is press fitted, penetrates the center of the body 12 in the axial direction. The shaft hole 20 has a press fit face 26 on which the rotary shaft 24 slides, and an escape part 28 recessed radially outward for the press fit face 26. Multiple press fit faces 26 and escape parts 28 are provided alternately in the hoop direction of the shaft hole 20. The escape parts 28 are formed so that the length in the hoop direction of a bottom 32 becoming radial outside is shorter than the length in the hoop direction of an opening 30 becoming the inner peripheral side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
