A viscous agent G which imparts resistance to the opening and closing movement of the lid 2 is applied to the journaling mechanism 4. Thus, the lid 2 is automatically opened relative to the case body 1 from a closed position, with the journaling mechanism 4 serving as the center of rotation; since the opening movement is slowly effected because of the resistance imparted by the viscous agent G applied to the journaling mechanism 4, the operation of opening the lid 2 can be performed easily and smoothly.
