Abstract:
To provide a compact case in which a shock absorbing part is formed integrally with a case body part, and that can be manufactured at low cost while exhibiting sufficient shock absorbing capacity, and a method for manufacturing the compact case.SOLUTION: A compact case comprises an inner tray 10 housing contents, a case body part 30 provided integrally with a shock absorbing part 20 comprising a concave inner tray housing part 21 housing the inner tray 10, and a lid body 40 capable of opening/closing an upper opening 22 of the inner tray housing part 21. The shock absorbing part 20 comprises hollow parts 25a and 25b communicating with through holes 33a and 33b formed in a bottom wall 32 of the case body part 30 and extending along a peripheral wall 11 of the inner tray 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
