To provide a compact container with shock-absorbing function in which only a middle plate can be separated for replacement and the shock absorption is much more improved than conventional one.
A compact container 1 is equipped with a container body 3 where a middle plate storage section 2 which places an exchangeable middle plate 7 is formed and a lid body 5 which is hinged on the container body movably. A sheet-like shock absorber 14 which covers from a bottom face 2a to an inner peripheral face 2b of the middle plate storage section continuously and consists of a gel raw material is fixed on the middle plate storage section. The internal surface of the shock absorber has tackiness which can hold the middle plate detachably, and tightly adheres and holds the middle plate placed in the middle plate storage section detachably. A fixing film 15 is fixed on the lateral surface of the shock absorber. The shock absorber is fixed on the bottom face and the inner peripheral face of the middle plate storage section through the fixing film.
