The compact extraction apparatus 1 for the microwave oven for extracting and acquiring the effective components from animal and plant raw materials by heating by the microwave irradiation is provided with: an upper opening container 2 composed of a microwave transmissive material; a recovery container 3 mounted inside the upper opening container; and a funnel-like container (cooling container) 4 for housing ice and mounted on the recovery container, wherein the animal and plant raw materials can be filled around the recovery container at least. Thus, when the animal and plant raw materials are filled around the recovery container and irradiated with microwaves inside the microwave oven, the effective components are extracted from the animal and plant raw materials, and there is the effect of preventing thermal degradation since the animal and plant raw materials shield the recovered effective components from the microwaves.
