Abstract:
To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp capable of improving safety by forcibly shutting down a lighting circuit at the time of abnormality of an arc tube, and a lighting device.
The compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp is equipped with an arc tube 14, a lighting device 17 which has an inverter circuit section having a switching element, a resonance inductor connected to an output end of the inverter circuit section, and a temperature positive characteristic resistance element PTC that is arranged closely to a transformer CT having this resonance inductor with a spacing of 1 mm or less and connected in parallel to the arc tube, and lights the arc tube, and a cover 13 which houses the lighting device and has a base.
