To provide a compact ultra-high pressure generator in which a plan and pressurizing step are performed at a site other than a diffraction experiment site, hand-carrying is performed to the experiment site with a pressurized state, and the pressure is slowly reduced by changing the site, after an end of the diffraction experiment.
The compact ultra-high pressure generater is provided with: a body having two anvils in which a pressurized space for arranging a material to be pressurized is formed between end surfaces; a press frame with a built-in hydraulic cylinder for moving one of the anvils for making the pressurized space a high-pressure state; a pressurizing means for supplying ultra-high pressure oil to the hydraulic cylinder; and a pressure reducing means for slowly discharging or reducing pressure of the supplied ultra-high pressure oil. The compact ultra-high pressure generater is provided with a disconnection means for disconnecting a channel for supplying or discharging the high-pressure oil, between the pressurizing means and pressure reducing means, and the body, where the pressurized state within the pressurized space is maintained.
