To confirm safety by all the occupants themselves when they get off a vehicle by providing a detection sensor performing a display illumination for a compartment side door handle part, controlling this lighting under a traditional condition improving safety, detecting the state of the vehicle and outputting a signal to a centralized control computer.

A compartment side door handle part 10 is provided at the inside of a door of a passenger car and a door handle/knob 11 is arranged in a recessed and molded part of a storage bezel 12 molded by recessing the inside. Based on each state signal showing whether a vehicle is in a safely stopping state or not, a centralized control computer outputs a turning on/off operating signal and thereby a display illuminating operation of a display illuminating means of the compartment side door handle part 10 is controlled. All the occupants including occupants sitting on the rear seat can know a safely stopping state, that is, a state that the vehicle is completely stopped and they can safely get off the vehicle by themselves and safety can be improved.
