PURPOSE: To obtain a compatible polymer mixture satisfactorily workable by extrusion, blowing molding or thermal molding with good compatibility and capable of obtaining a molded body showing excellent surface gloss by mixing polyoxymethylene and polyalkyl acrylate.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A polyoxymethylene component; 0.5-99.5 pts.wt. is mixed with (B) a polymer 40-100 wt.% of which consists of a monomer of the formula I (R1 is CH3 or C2H5); 99.5-0.5 pts.wt. to manufacture a compatible polymer mixture. In this case, 0-60 wt.% of the polymer B represents the formula II [R is H or CH3; R2 is phenyl or a group of the formula III (R3 is 1-14C alkyl), wherein R is simultaneously H, and R1 in the formula I is not R3 or CH3]. Thus, a compatible polymer mixture satisfactorily workable by extrusion, blowing molding or thermal molding with good compatibility and capable of obtaining a molded body showing excellent surface gloss can be obtained.
