Abstract:
To provide a multifariously deficient adenovirus vector for gene cloning and expression, and to provide a complementary cell line.
The multifariously deficient adenovirus vector is structured so that an E1 region and an E4 region of an adenovirus genome, or the E1 region, an E2A region, and the E4 region, are made to be deficient and a foreign gene is inserted into the deficient E1 region. Further, the cell line comprises a 293 cell line having a cell genome which trans-compliments deficiency in essential gene functions of the E1 region, the E2A region, and the E4 region of the adenovirus.
