Abstract:
To provide a production method of siloxane capable of producing siloxane efficiently; and to provide a compound useful in production of siloxane.SOLUTION: In a method, siloxane is produced efficiently, by progressing a dehydrogenation condensation reaction of a hydrosilane compound and a silanol compound in the presence of an iron or lithium complex compound using, as a ligand, nitrogen and phosphorus in 1,10-phenanthroline substituted through a methylene group with a phosphorus-containing group having two alkyl groups on 2-position and 9-position.SELECTED DRAWING: None
