To prevent image data concerning a job, after executing a secure print job to maintain the security of the data, from being left in a device, thereby eliminating the problem of security that the job data such as print or the like of a complex machine are processed via a hard disk and the image data may be left in the device upon completion of the job regardless of the intention of a user.
In the complex machine, a hard disk enabling high speed input/output of data or a volatile memory can be used to shorten copying or printing operation time. So as to prevent the image data of the finished job from being left in the hard disk when using the hard disk, an operation mode not using the hard disk is prepared with regard to the secure print operation for security to process the job completely in the volatile memory. The complex machine has a display means functionally restricted as compared with a non-secure job.
