Abstract:
To provide a composite consisting of synthetic pulp and cellulose nanofibers capable of providing synthetic paper having improved strength and printability, as well as paint and ink that exhibit excellent rheological characteristics, by using it as an alternative to the conventional synthetic pulp.SOLUTION: A composite consists of synthetic pulp and cellulose nanofibers of this invention comprises the synthetic pulp and the cellulose nanofibers trapped therein. The synthetic pulp is made of a resin having a MFR of 0.1 g/10 min to 200 g/10 min, and is formed by assembling a plurality of microfibrillated fibers, the microfibrillated fibers have an average fiber length of 0.05 mm to 50 mm, minimum value of fiber diameter of 0.5 μm, and maximum value of fiber diameter of 50 μm. The Canadian freeness of the synthetic pulp is 300 ml or more to 740 ml or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
