Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex which has the catalyst activity that can hydrogenate a carbon-carbon double bond with extremely high selectivity and exhibits a significantly high conversion rate.SOLUTION: This invention provides a complex in which palladium is carried on a polymer compound that is a cyclic boronic acid ester substituted with an aromatic ring residue, the aromatic ring residue and/or cyclic boronic acid ester moiety being substituted with a boronylate group and/or a hydroxy group.
