Abstract:
To provide a compliant connector for emergency core cooling system strainer module.
The compliant connector contains couplings (54), (74) and (94) between modules disturbing generation of connection part load between neighboring strainer modules (10) and simultaneously adapting thermal expansion difference and/or shift of axes. The connector contains couplings constituting internal and external coupling with inlet/outlet (48) and (52) of the neighboring strainer modules. The coupling is constituted to contain the compliant seal consisting of garter springs (58) at each edge.
