Abstract:
The component has coil (20), housing (16), field testified component (18), cylinder, piston, cover that work together in such a manner that currentless conditions are generated. The field testified component, cylinder, piston, cover provides a magnetic field in one currentless condition for maintaining an effective connection using magneto-rheologic fluid (38) and magnetic powder. The field testified component, cylinder, piston and cover are demagnetized so that the effective connection between field testified component, cylinder, cover, pot lamellae (26, 27), piston and housing is cancelled. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a component.
