This assembly has a shaft 14 and a female component 6 fixed onto the shaft 14, with regard to rotation by a rotation fixing means so as to cooperate through complementary shape. The female component 6 is axially fixed onto the shaft 14 and provided with axial stop means cooperating with a stop means belonging to the shaft and connected to the axial stop means. These stop means act in the mounting direction. The female component 6 is further provided with axial holding faces 60, cooperating with an axial holding face belonging to the shaft 14 and connected to the axial holding faces 60. These holding faces 60 act in a direction opposite to the mounting direction.
