A component for a floating body structure has a main floating body part 10 and a mooring-side floating body part 20, which are provided with respective frames 11, 21 each made from continuous-glass fiber synthetic resin foam with specific gravity less than 1 and formed in the shape of a hollow box open at its upper and bottom surfaces. The upper surfaces of the frames 11, 21 are covered with floor boards made of continuous-glass fiber-reinforced synthetic resin foam. The cores 13, 23 of plural blocks made of synthetic resin foam are enclosed in the frames 11, 21.
