Abstract:

PURPOSE: To dissolve a component jam simply and surely when the component jam has been inspected by means of an inspection means, by changing vibration so that the component may be transported in the reverse direction.

CONSTITUTION: When a component jam occurs, and the flow of components stops at a component overflow detection and component jam detection device Q, a light receiving element 28 keeps on receiving the light of a light emitting element 27. As soon as a control circuit 29 inspects this condition, a transfer direction reversing output S is generated from an input terminal 61, and supplied to a drive circuit which is not shown in the drawing. As a result, a changeover switch which is not shown in the drawing, is changed over, and the vibration direction of the track of a ball 2 is changed over to the reverse direction of the present transfer direction. Accordingly, the component is moved from a jammed place to the reverse direction, and jamming is dissolved. The detection signal ceases to exist as jamming is dissolved, and the transfer reversing output S ceases to exist after the lapse of a predetermined time, and a normal operation is returned. As a result, jamming is dissolved simply and surely.
