Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dispense with procedure works such as adjusting the gap dimension of guide rails even with a change in kinds of boards and to enable mounting components on each board with a variety of boards transported at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent jig 17 fitted with a variety of boards 31-35 is transported to a predetermined position by a conveyor belt 22. At this position the transparent jig 17 is illuminated from below by a lamp 26 and photographed from above by a camera 25. Kinds and positions of the boards 31-35 are detected from photographed images of this camera 25, whereby electronic components are mounted on each board 31-35.
