Title:
COMPONENT FOR TIMEPIECE MOVEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014137377
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivotal pin that restricts the sensitivity to a magnetic field and achieves the hardness satisfying the requirement for abrasion resistance and impact resistance.SOLUTION: A pivotal pin 1 for a timepiece movement comprises at least one tenon 3 at at least one of the ends. The at least one tenon 3 is made of a composite material having a metal matrix containing at least one metal selected from nickel, titanium, chromium, zirconium, silver, gold, platinum, silicon, molybdenum, aluminum, and an alloy of the above-mentioned metal. In the matrix, in order to restrict the sensitivity to a magnetic field of the pivotal pin 1, hard particles selected from WC, TiC, TaC, TiN, TiCN, Al2O3, ZrO2, Cr2O3, SiC, MoSi2, AlN, and a combination of them are diffused.
