Abstract:
To provide a component with the lubricity and its manufacturing method while providing the component with high durability that enables it to stably exhibit lubricity when wet.
The component has a porous layer 2 at least the surface of which is made of a porous polymer material, and a hydrophilic lubricating layer 3 formed by applying a solution for application, comprising a hydrophilic polymer mixed into a solvent having a surface tension smaller than the critical surface tension of the surface of the porous layer 2, to the surface of the porous layer 2 including the insides of holes, and then cross-linking the hydrophilic polymer.
