Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composite active silver brazing filler metal which does not oxidize during a brazing work or a storage, and by which the excellent strength of brazing can be attained.
CONSTITUTION: The composite active silver brazing filler metal is formed by applying a thin Cu film of 0.5 to 10μm thickness or the film 2 of a Cu alloy including, by weight, ≤10% Ag on the whole surface or both surfaces of an active Ag brazing filler metal 1 containing, by weight, 10 to 40% Cu, 0.5 to 4% one kind or two kinds or over out of Ti, Hf, Zn, Zr, Be, and Li, and ≤100ppm oxygen.
