Abstract:
To provide a composite base material for a face material of a low cost excellent in strength, moisture or the like by laminating a veneer as a material of a plywood and a timber fiber plate.
One veneer 1 having a thickness of 0.7 to 1.6 mm and made of a timber and one timber fiber plate 2 such as an intermediate density fiber plate or the like having a thickness of 1.0 to 2.0 mm are laminated to one another by an adhesive of synthetic resin. And, the veneer 1 exhibits a rectangular shape, and its woodgrain is directed toward long side of the rectangle.
