Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composite ceramic material superior in dispersibility of zirconia particle and nickel, and composition controllability; a method for manufacturing such a composite ceramic material; a slurry for a solid oxide fuel battery; a fuel electrode for a solid oxide fuel battery; and a solid oxide fuel battery.SOLUTION: A composite ceramic material of the present invention is used as a fuel electrode of a solid oxide fuel battery. When a power generation efficiency of the solid oxide fuel battery is measured under the condition that at a measurement temperature of 600°C, a hydrogen gas is supplied at a flow rate of 4 mL/minute, and a nitrogen gas is supplied at a flow rate of 16 mL/minute, a power generation efficiency of 50% LHV or higher can be achieved.
