To provide a method for producing a composite cloth maintaining an essential feeling without damaging characteristics and functions of a cloth for obverse and reverse double layers and to provide a method for producing a composite cloth having improved water resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance, moisture permeability, solvent resistance and peeling resistance free and from an environmental pollution by harmful substances such as dioxins, during contact bonding, or the like.
A cloth 1 for an obverse layer is supplied from a feed roll 2 of the cloth 1 for the obverse layer to a space between processing rolls, a nylon-based film sheet (hereinafter nominated to be merely a film for thermobonding) 3 comprising a polyamide elastomer as a main raw material is supplied from a feed roll 4 for the film 3 for thermobonding, and a cloth 5 for a reverse layer is supplied from a feed roll 6 for the cloth 5 for the reverse layer. Then the film 3 for thermobonding is laid between the cloths 1 and 5 for the obverse and reverse double layers, subjected to a thermobonding processing and the cloths 1 and 5 for the obverse and reverse double layers are bonded to produce a composite cloth 7 for the obverse and reverse double layers. The thermobonding processing is continuously carried out while sending the cloths 1 and 5 for the obverse and reverse double layers between which the film 3 for thermobonding is laid to a space between processing rolls 8 and 9 of a processing apparatus 10.
