Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite component capable of surely holding a honeycomb structure in a case even in a case of being exposed by a high-temperature gas of high speed.SOLUTION: A metallic string-like body 48 is disposed between an outer wall 22 of a honeycomb structure body 21 and an inner face 401 of a case 40 in holding the honeycomb structure 20 having a number of cells 24 continued along a longitudinal direction of the honeycomb structure body 21 in the cylindrical case 40, at an inner side of the honeycomb structure body 21. Thus the honeycomb structure 20 can be surely held by the case 40 as a thickness of the metallic string-like body 48 is increased by disposing the metallic string-like body 48 in a state of being compressed in a thickness direction even when the case 40 is expanded due to difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the honeycomb structure 20 and the case 40, and increased in its diameter while separating from an outer face of the honeycomb structure 20, when a heat exchanger 10 as a composite component is exposed to a high-temperature gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
