PURPOSE: To obtain a composite container with a freely housed handle by applying releasing agent on a part of a surface where a blank and a container side are in contact with each other, forming an unfused part which does not fuse to the container side and forming the handle by folding a cut part of this unfused part.

CONSTITUTION: Releasing agent is applied in a shape of a handle 2 in advance on a part of a back of a blank (label) 6 to be fused to a side 3 of a cylindrical container 1, and a cut 7 is made on a periphery 6b of the part to be the handle 2. Then the blank 6 is fused to the side 3 of the cylindrical container 1. An unfused part which does not fuse to the side 3 of the container due to the releasing agent on the back of the blank 6 is folded outward at a portion 8 where the cut 7 has not been formed to form the handle 2. Thus a container which is safe because the handle may not be peeled and which is convenient since the handle can be folded and housed into a container outer wall can be obtained.
