Title:
COMPOSITE DAMPING STEEL PLATE EXCELLENT IN SPOT WELDABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0358832
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance joint strength and to stabilize spot weldability by adding a metal filler having specific hardness, electric resistivity and heat conductivity to a resin layer in an amount of 0.1 - 10.0vol.%.

CONSTITUTION: A desired composite damping steel plate is formed by laminating two steel plates through a resin layer having damping properties. At this time, 0.1 - 10.0vol.% of a metal filler having hardness of 100 - 400μHv, electric resistivity ρ of 3μΩ.cm or more and heat conductivity k of 0.3cal/°C.cm.sec or less is added to the resin layer. By this method, a composite damping steel plate having high joint strength and excellent in stable spot weldability can be obtained.
