Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a hermetic speaker box by specifying the ratio of diaphragm areas between a main speaker and an auxiliary speaker in regard of compliances of the main speaker and the hermetic box and the driving force ratio of the auxiliary speaker.
CONSTITUTION: A main speaker 1 is attached to the front face of a hermetic speaker box 3 and directly radiates the sound to the outside. An auxiliary speaker 2 is attached to the inside of the box 3 and at the rear of the speaker 1. Thus the speaker 2 is connected electrically and in parallel to the speaker 1 and radiates the sound to the rear of the speaker 1. Then n≤(Cv/Cs)k is set when the mechanical system equivalence compliance of the speaker 1 is referred to as Cs together with the mechanical system equivalence compliance of a rear air chamber referred to as Cv, the ratio of diaphragm area of the speaker 2 referred to as (n) to the speaker 1, and the driving force ratio of the speaker 2 referred to as (k) to the speaker 1 respectively.
