To provide a diesinking/pore composite electric discharge machining method which remarkably shortens machining time of a shape where a machining area is extremely changed.

The diesinking/pore composite electric discharge machining method of the machining hole shape having a part the machining area of which extremely largely changes against the machining area of a pore part is characteristically constituted of: machining a part where the machining area is large by a formed diesinking machining electrode after machining the pore part where the machining area is small by a rod type electrode. 2. The diesinking/pore composite electric discharge machining device is constituted to carry out pore machining by installing an electrode guide unit on a W axis slide 35 when the rod type electrode is installed on a Z axis spindle unit; and carrying out diesinking machining by removing the electrode guide unit from a clamping means of a lower end part of the W axis slide when the formed diesinking machining electrode is installed on the Z axis spindle unit by providing the rod type electrode 37a freely detachably on the Z axis spindle unit 41 and providing the electrode guide unit 73 furnished with an electrode guide 81.
