PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good touch peculiar to a ceramic material and increase the anticracking strength by covering the outside of a core which can be deformed by extrusion molding with a cement layer and has an almost C-shaped cross section so that both core and cement layer are configuratively fitted into each other as a single body.
SOLUTION: Following an extrusion molding process to uniformly cover the entire outer peripheral face of a core M with an almost C-shaped cross section with a cement raw material with high viscosity as much as an oily clay and low fluidity, the extrusion molding is left alone in the air or cured to set a cement layer C covering the surface side of the core M. Although the cement layer C is slightly shrunk at the time of setting, the core M of a metal sheet becomes deformed mainly in the opening part to absorb a shrinkage in the width direction, so that a cracking or a breaking phenomenon or the like does not occur in the set cement layer C. The set cement layer C is configuratively fitted into the core M inside the cement layer C as a single piece to obtain a decorative girth G1 as it is in the integrated form. Thus it is possible to monolithically bind the core M of a metal sheet which is hard to bond, to the cement layer C, and prevent cracks, breaks or the like even when a shrinkage occurs due to the setting of the cement layer C from being generated.
