Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composite food packed in a container, having excellent appearance, taste and palatability and useful for dessert food, etc., and produced by fixing a plastic food to the bottom of the container and filling the container with a gelatinizable food having a specific gravity higher than that of the plastic food.
CONSTITUTION: This composite food packed in a container is composed of (A) a plastic food such as a foam-containing food selected from whipped cream, mousse and meringue and (B) a gelatinous food such as jelly or mousse food solidifying in refrigerated state or at normal temperature. The food A has a specific gravity smaller than that of the food B and is fixed to the bottom of the container with a reverse tapered recess formed on the bottom and the gelatinous food is poured on the plastic food. The reverse tapered recess is narrower than the inner side wall of the container and formed at the center of the bottom. The material of the container is preferably incorporated with 0.1-0.8wt.% of a surfactant.
