Abstract:
To provide a translucent front face protective plate having high impact resistance while being thin, and preferably having also high scratch resistance.
This composite front face protective plate includes a translucent hard layer, and functional layers laminated on both sides of the hard layer and having at least one function. The thickness of each functional layer is 1-50 μm, and the thickness of the hard layer is 100-600 μm. The total light transmittance of the composite front face protective plate is 90% or higher, and 50% impact fracture energy (JIS K5600, ASTM D2794, ISO6272) is 70 mJ or larger.
