Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a composite ion-exchange membrane excellent in monovalent-ion selectivity and a method for producing the same; an ion-exchange membrane module using a composite ion-exchange membrane; and an ion exchange apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite ion-exchange membrane which has a surface layer 2 containing a cellulose nanofiber on one surface or both surfaces thereof, where the cellulose nanofiber has at least one selected from the group consisting of a carboxy group, a carboxylate, a sulfo group and a sulfonate group on the surface, the surface layer 2 contains a cured product of a compound having two or more crosslinking ethylenically unsaturated groups and the crosslinking groups are at least one group selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyloxy group, a (meth)acrylic amide group and a styryl group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
