To provide a composite lathe and a composite fabrication process capable of simultaneously machining two workpieces and shortening a cycle time for the machining by simultaneously machining upper and lower sides of one of the workpieces.
At a first machining stage 110 of the composite lathe 1, a first workpiece 6A held by a first rotating spindle 2A is machined by a first tool 32A, and a second workpiece 6B supported by a tail stock tool 35 and held by a second rotating spindle 2B is machined by a second tool 32B. At a second machining stage 120, the second workpiece 6B held by the second rotating spindle 2B is machined by both of the second tool 32B and a third tool 32C while supported by an adapter 5 fitted to a tip of the first workpiece 6A held by the first rotating spindle 2A.
