To provide a coated metal sheet having a composite layer coating film of an enamel layer 2/photocatalyst layer 3, which is excellent in coating film adhesion and photocatalytic activity, formed thereto.

In the enamel/photocatalyst composite layer coated metal sheet, the enamel layer 2 and the photocatalyst layer 3 are successively formed on a substrate/metal sheet 1 and fine cracks 4 with a mean size of 500 μm or below are dispersed in the whole surface region of the enamel layer 2 while fine cracks 5 with a mean size of 300 μm or below are dispersed in the whole surface region of the photocatalyst layer 3. The adhesion of the enamel layer 2 and the photocatalyst layer 3 is enhanced by the fine cracks 4 and 5 and the effective surface area of photocatalyst particles is increased to show excellent photocatalytic activity.
