To improve performance of a battery produced in such a way that in an active material for a battery electrode, by covering the surface of the active material for the battery electrode using a carbon material dispersed without inhibiting conductibility, reduction of a conductive auxiliary agent is achieved with contact conservation between the active material in the electrode and the conductive auxiliary agent, and between the conductive auxiliary agents.
A dispersion element in which one or more derivatives selected from the group consisting of an organic dye derivative having an acidic function, a triazine derivative having an acidic function, an organic dye derivative having a basic function and a triazine derivative having a basic function are dispersed in a dispersant conductive carbon material, and an active material particle are mixed, and then a solvent is removed by drying the mixtures, so that a composite material in which the surface of the active material for the battery electrode is covered with the carbon material is produced.
