Abstract:
To produce a composite material joinable by a usual adhesive means.
This composite material (10) comprising fibers (1) embedded in a thermoplastic base material (20) has free surfaces (11) to be treated. The composite material (10) has one or more capillary spaces (30) extending among interstices of the fibers (1) and the capillary spaces (30) are at least partially formed by communicating with pores and are opened toward the surfaces (11) to be treated. The average diameter of the pores is substantially smaller than the fiber diameter.
