To obtain a product not absorbing water and having a high glass transition temperature and improved water resistance by pouring a specified curable composition into a mold filled with a fibrous reinforcement and curing the mixture by irradiation with X-rays or electron beams.
A curable composition prepared by mixing 50-70wt.% tetraacrylate represented by formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or CH3; and Z is a bivalent group having one or two aromatic or alicyclic rings) with 30-50wt.% diacrylate and/or triacrylate or a monofunctional acrylic diluent represented by formula II (wherein R6 is H or a group of formula III) is poured into a mold filled with 55-75vol.% fibrous reinforcement and cured by irradiating with X-rays or electron beams at an ionization dosage of 50-250kGy in an inert atmosphere.
