Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material for heat release which contains a metal matrix and a fine carbon based filler and has suitably improved thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: A method of producing a composite material for heat release comprising a metal matrix and fine carbon based filler by powder molding comprises: a mixing step of dispersing and mixing a metal powder, fine carbon based filler and graphene oxide; a molding step of pressure-molding the mixture obtained in the mixing step to bind the fine carbon based filler and graphene oxide mutually and continuously in a matrix and a sintering step of sintering the molding obtained in the molding step. In the matrix, the fine carbon based filler and graphene oxide are bound continuously to form a heat conduction path.
