To provide a composite material and its manufacturing method wherein though a woody material of a base material is a deformed product or an irregular part exists on a surface, a crack and the like are difficult to be generated, and an improved surface state is provided while surface performances of a design property, a stain-proof property, durability and the like are maintained excellent.
A composite is obtained wherein a thermoplastic resin layer of ≥85% and light transmittance and ≥5 and <100% elongation percentage is laminated on a surface of a woody material. A method for integrally molding a film and the woody material is provided wherein the thermoplastic resin layer is previously molded in a film shape, the obtained film is set in a mold, successively the woody material is set in the mold, and the film and the woody material are integrally molded.
