Abstract:
To provide a composite base material, a prepreg, a carbon fiber-reinforced molded body which can more surely obtain characteristics derived from CNT bonded to a carbon fiber, and a method for manufacturing a composite base material.SOLUTION: In a composite base material 10, a structure 14 formed of a plurality of carbon nanotubes 17 is formed on a surface of each carbon fiber 11 of carbon fiber bundles 12 constituting the composite base material. The carbon nanotube 17 has a linear shape. The carbon fiber 11 has a standard deviation of the number of carbon nanotubes 17 crossing sides of a counting frame of 1 μm square of 4.5 or less in a range of a length of 1 m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
